Just a quick note tonight;today was rainy, but hot. Its the last Saturday before starting back at work, so lots of family time. We baked cookies for school, went out splashing in the rain, and played with all sorts of toys aorund the house. It's interesting though, everyone has become accoustomed to mommie doing it all. Little things throughout the day made this clear. DH was talking on the phone and watching DS1 play with my nice tea set from China. It just didn't click that this was (1) a nice item, (2) breakable and (3) just not a good idea. Then after dinner, DH was being scoleded by a very angry almost four year old, DS1, that he was not drying his toes "properly". DS2 came running out of the bathroom naked the first time, and the second he had his pajamas on backwards! The adjustments will be fun, but good for all of us!

I can totally relate to "mommy does everything", and the challenges that present themselves when mommy can't be there to do everything. Ahhh... lovely!
